PAPSRS will be offering $6,800 in scholarships for the conference. Go to www.papsrs.org to download a scholarship application. This year's conference is featuring: Dr. Michael Fowlin: Nationally known actor and psychologist, Michael deals with the issues of race, discrimination, violence prevention, personal identity, suicide, gender equity, homophobia, and emotional pain. Michael’s mission is to create an atmosphere of worldwide inclusion, not just tolerance, towards all people. Victoria Maxwell: Actress, researcher, educator, and mental health worker, Victoria describes the light and dark side of living with bipolar disorder, anxiety and psychosis. Dr. Frese has been featured in the video I'm Still Here: The Truth about Schizophrenia. Dr. Frese speaks about the process of developing schizophrenia, living with the disorder and has developed 12 aspects of coping with the illness. David Granirer: Founder of Stand Up for Mental Health. David is a stand up comedian who teaches stand up to people with mental illness. David who suffers from depression looks at how humor can build confidence and help fight stigma. In partnership with USPRA, PAPSRS can offer CEU's to ASWB, NBCC, APA, NAADAC, and CPRP.
